About Give Hands

Give Hands Together for Change is an officially registered Non-Governmental Organization. The organization was established on Bhadra 21, 2069 B.S. with a motive of encouraging youths to do something for the betterment of the society.

Thousands of NGOs have been registered in Nepal but most of them have just been registered for cheap-designation, some of them have profit motive and only few turn out to work for the actual benefit of the society. This is a bitter truth, and an opaque reality, that our society has been victimized by selfishness.

Today, our country looks somewhere lost. Chaos has gained supremacy and it is creating cracks in our strongly cemented brotherhood. Probably due to political instability and irresponsibility of our leaders, our cities have been listed among the dirtiest cities in the world by international agencies. Besides that, child abuse, uneducated manpower, caste discrimination and gender discrimination dares to question us, Nepalese, “Is the future of Nepal and Nepalese safe?”

The question struck us very badly, due to which we were determined to do something for the nation. We then started working in different organisations which were intended to benefit the society. We could not satisfy the thirst to serve the nation even with our involvement in many different organisations. That was the time when we first planned an organisation of our own, Give Hands Together for Change.
