Volunteer's Day Celebration

Awareness Program and World Volunteer Day 2014 Celebration

Marking the World Volunteer Day 2014, we organized a celebration program. The first phase was Traffic Awareness Program (TAP). Around 30 volunteers participated in the program in which we made people aware about the proper use of zebra-crossing and reservation seats. We selected three best places to do so; Old bus park for reservation seat’s awareness, Zebra crossings in New-road and Exhibition road for zebra-crossing awareness. We were able to reach and aware a huge number of mobile audiences in our program.

The second phase of our program was celebration of the world volunteers program. A mass of around 70 volunteers working in different organizations were gathered there. We thanked all the volunteers all over the world for their selfless devotion in the betterment of society. Then, representatives of many youth and volunteering related organizations introduced themselves and their organizations. They elaborated their works which they have done voluntarily. We then lit candles and made a “V” sign in the ground to mark the volunteers’ day and concluded the program.
